Every DJ has some "big guns" that they save to use at just the right moment. Usually for peak hour exclamation points, or just because they get the children jumping. This episode has some of my big guns that work me, and work my dance floors. Enjoy!! Peace & Love, Troy Peak Hour

These tracks will make you feel good and bring back Tea Dance memories. I love disco, always have, always will. There I said it. If you are with me, then let's go!! I love the chunky, fat base lines and electro funk of today, don't get me wrong; but there is something about this type of music (Disco) that feeds my soul. Thank you for listening. Peace & Love Always, Troy One Hundred Thirty Three

The title refers to the BPM (beats per minute) for this podcast. That is pretty fast moving music. This edition is meant to represent a peak hour selection, focusing on yummy tribal beats, some classics, and some sure to get you movin' tracks. I hope you enjoy this episode, and please friend and follow me on this website. (and facebook) Peace and Love always, Troy Do U Wanna Dance

International vibe with hints of italy, france, jamaica, and touches of hip-hop, latin, disco, electro, pop, house, funk; this has something for everyone! And it all works together to make the title really only a rhetorical affirmation. Thank you for your support! Please friend and follow me, let me know what you think. This collection of tracks includes some new, some a bit older, and some just re-worked classics; but all are currently on my play list when I spin. Each is close to my heart, and every track makes me smile and want to dance. Even recording this podcast found me turning on the disco ball in my studio and dancing around with no one looking. Music that makes you "dance like no one's looking" is a perfect summary for this post. Let me know what you think!! Love and Peace, Troy Sexy Party

Sexy party is a collection of music I have been playing at Score Nightclub on Friday's. South Beach is full of sexy parties, and I love spinning for all the Sexy people on Lincoln Road every week. These tracks never cease to excite the children. (#6 never fails to get EVERYONE'S ass shakin') Enjoy the music and shake your ass too!! Peace & Love Troy 'EFECTED-'VISION

Soulful-vibe'y joints that I have been playing lately. A few covers from the 80's reworked into relevant, now sound. It seems that European music makers get it, or I get them, whichever. All I can say is, thank God someone gets it. House music, disco, funk, R&B, soul; I get it, now you can too. Enjoy! Peace & Love Troy. How do I Believe?

Electro house beats, funky new re-workings of classics, and brand new, soon to become classics. Shannon sets the stage for this musical journey, I think this mix is how this track should have always sounded. Suzanne Palmer gets re-styled, working gospel and funky electro that makes you Believe!! And Georgie Porgie gets an electro take on "I believe in love!" As always, peace and love, and above all, Believe!! Troy Next Page |
About Troy LandonI have been DJing for 10 years now, and my love for music and dancing is the very fabric of my being. I have always been drawn to music, as a child I used to stay in my room listening to my albums for hours on end. I would have to listen to music each morning before school, much to my parents dismay, and as soon as I returned home from school, the first thing I would do is play my records. As a teen, I would always take over the stereo at every party I attended and made sure the people were dancing and singing. I first tried DJing on real equipment at a lounge I was managing in South Beach, and found I instantly knew how to work the mixer and controls in the DJ booth.(the scheduled dj did not show up!!) So without anyone to teach me, I taught myself. Over the next few years I was given the opportunity to play in some of the hottest clubs on South Beach. The early gigs were not always perfect, but over time, my comfort with mixing and my abilities grew. And after a 3 year residency at Laundry Bar on Thursday nights, I grew into my own and found my voice. I will always DJ, for the rest of my life. The records, and the music are now who I am. Music is joy, and my joy is music. Music lifts up our souls and brings our spirit together. I hope you enjoy the music I play, please give me your reactions and let me know if you love something.
